John & Marlene | Pre Engagement

Getting lost sometimes is a good thing. I drove the couple downtown, and we were looking for a new location that hasn’t been done before. So I suggested that we purposely get lost to discover new unique areas. We ended up at a yacht club where the perfect mix of sun, sea, and clouds created a nice dramatic backdrop for some beautiful photography. We also stumbled upon an industrial area, before heading off to the distillery historic district.  John and Marlene took me for a bite after the shoot, where we had some great food and I got the chance to know them better. Shady + Caroline Engaged !

I’ve been holding on to these for a while waiting for the big engagement day. Shady and Caroline rocked this shoot downtown, and toughed out cold weather as winter was just leaving. We started the shoot at Union Station and made our way to the distillery historic district. They were brave enough to stand on the tracks and allowed me to get some really creative stuff. Congratulations and we hope to see you again soon when you tie the knot.
