RLA Studios goes HD !
As some might already know, I’ve started to include short video highlights as part of my standard core packages. These videos really spice up the slideshow DVD making it more like a feature film. I like to call it… (drumroll please)…. ‘RLA Premium Fusion Slideshow’. So today we went ahead and purchased a new High-Definition video camera / camcorder, and because my clients deserve nothing but the very best, I got the Canon Vixia HF S200.
1080p of beautiful crisp engagement/wedding videos via an HD Canon lens with the ability to record 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound audio. This camera is rated one of the best products of 2010 by Popular Mechanics magazine. With this camera, I can say with confidence that RLA Studios is ready for the age of High-Definition imaging. Blu-ray slideshow discs will be offered as an optional choice for those clients who want the ultimate in realism and slideshow experience. New Branding: Concept 1
I’ve been seriously considering changing the rlastudios branding to something cleaner.. simpler.. something that delivers a clear message with impact. I think yellow is a great color for this as it is the brightest color next to white. Yellow also has an inherent glow. The new brand signifies my growth as a photographer and a professional. the logo is simple, clean, and can be replicated easily. I believe this new branding can help set us apart from the crowd in this competitive market (the Toronto Wedding Photography) .
The Coptic Orphans Gala Event
Big News! Our first photojournalistic coverage of a mass media event:
On November 21, 2009, I will be providing media coverage for the Coptic Orphans Gala Event. Since RLA Studios is the sole photographer for the event, our images will be used in every national or local newspaper or website publishing media regarding the event. This is tremendously exciting for us and will provide us invaluable experience, and allow us to serve our community and raise funds for unprivileged children who are desperately in need.
The Coptic Orphans Foundation (CO) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 with the goal of the long-term development of the physical and intellectual well being of children in Egypt. The foundation is an award-winning international Christian development organization that unlocks the God-given potential of disadvantaged children in Egypt, and so equips them to break the cycle of poverty and become change-makers in their communities.
