How to Take Better Photos
What makes a good photo ?
Understanding these attributes can help you take better photos and become a better
photographer regardless of the type of equipment you use… even a polaroid camera.
A Wedding Reality …
The lights go out .. the food that you paid for is nothing but crumbs and stains on commercial tablecloths. The limo is gone ..you get into the taxi cab with your ears still ringing from the loud music as you try to forget the thousands you spent to use that big divided room for 4 hours.
The Equipment I Choose
A few people have been asking me about the type of equipment I use.
Many people would be surprised that I’m even divulging this information to the public.
Many may ask, “Aren’t you afraid that someone might buy the same stuff and do similar
work?” Here is my answer, Does it matter what kind of paintbrush an artist uses? or what
brand paint he applies?
Cameras don’t create images, photographers do.
Hello World!
Welcome to the new Blog!
For those of you who don’t know me yet,
On a professional level, I’m Jed Eltom, a portrait-photojournalistic style Toronto Photographer. I specialize in life event photography where my mission is to capture the beauty that is your life.
On a personal level, I am a guy who appreciates art and loves photography. I am getting married soon (Sept 5, 2009) to the most beautiful and wonderful girl on my planet, Bernadette, and I cannot wait to be on the beach of Aruba in about a month from now.
I’ll be posting news and photos here that I take either professional or personal along with comments describing the shoot or the circumstances of the shoot. This blog will help you get to know me and my work, and hopefully promote my passion and help me develop as a photographer and an artist. So stay tuned!
